Simply beautiful! How wondrous and uplifting that the Orthodox Church has remained steadfast and unchanging in her worship. No matter where in the world Christ is worshipped, we are united in our beliefs and practices. Even though I don’t know the languages, I understand what is going on in the worship because we have held to and maintained our traditions. No rock bands with guitars and drums, flag dancers, projector screens, modern praise choruses, birthday parties for Jesus, and all the other “stuff” that has infiltrated into modern-day churches.

BTW, where is that parish in Pennsylvania? Just curious because I live in PA. The extra music that you linked to sounds just like the choir in my church, which has Russian roots.

Thanks so much for posting this. – Darlene
